UNDERCURRENT – creatives connecting in Hull

“Would you like to join us in developing an artists and creatives network and grow a vibrant and exciting arts community?

Undercurrent is an evolving network run by artists and creatives with artists and creatives needs at its core.

Our aim is to provide a platform where opportunities can be created to communicate regularly, in the real world and online, discuss and develop ideas, meet socially, share professional insights and give voice and muscle to the artists and creatives community”.

Contact: Hull Artists undercurrent@gmail.com

So last night was my first “meetup” with the fledgling UNDERCURRENT creatives networking group…

Everybody was enthusiastic about this opportunity for creatives to interact and share resources, and through a series of brainstorming, thought sharing activities…

…were able to get down on paper some of the wants and needs of the individuals from such an organisation/group.

Thanks to Jay ( http://twitter.com/#!/jaymoy ) and Quentin ( http://www.meetup.com/Undercurrent/members/9511641/ ) and the others for organising the meetup… look forward to seeing everyone (and more) next time.

You can find the meetup link for this group below… if you are a CREATIVE, artist, designer, musician, actor, writer, animator, composer, creative educator, illustrator, film-maker etc with connections to Hull and the surrounding area (and beyond), you should probably make yourself known to them…
