Great Gigs at Ye Olde Black Boy – JESUS CHRIST! – OFFICIALLY HULL’S MOST FUN DRUMMER TO WATCH!

Wednesday nights have changed down in Olde Town… Matt Guy, Music Performance student at the Horncastle Building, Hull College along with the owners of this great little High Street Pub have started Open Mic nights, with headline acts to add to their existing Sea Shanty evenings and Folk afternoons… Posters in the pub (designed by… ahem, yours truly) are asking for further acts to grace this small venue with its great atmosphere… Between acts you can listen to the latest sounds via Matt’s i-pod DJ-ing or classic sounds on vinyl from the deck behind the bar…

Last Wednesday saw feisty Snubnose 44 supporting the excellent Jesus Christ! Top Night had by all, especially watching that amp rocking on that table to the beat of Hull’s Officially Most Fun Drummer To Watch!

Great fun…

Gig posters (including the one above are produced for Ye Olde Black Boy by Ryan Kitching, a young music graphics designer based here in the city. – http://www.coroflot.com/rykitching
